D4 wont start/freezes on my Samsung 990 Pro NVME SSD

My D4 freezes/wont start on my 990 Pro NVME SSD.
When i move/copy the game to my 970 Evo all works fine.
All other games running flawless on my 990 Pro

Are you using the Samsung or Windows driver for each? I have NVMe issues as well, severe stuttering every ~30 seconds or so, but I can at least play the game. I use the Samsung drivers and not the Windows build in one. I have 970 & 980 Pros. I have a theory that maybe D4 doesn’t like the Samsung drivers but is fine with Windows, you can add some weight to the theory if your 990 Pro is one way, and your EVO is the other.

You can confirm using Samsung Magician software and/or Device Manager.
