D4 used to be enjoyable

Trading is largely where people go to take advantage of less fortunate people. Either not consistent with modern sensibilities or maybe too consistent with modern sensibilities.

Just return rune, Mythic and Ancestral drops to a more reasonable rate and stop with this “only for a few and of those only the least ethically inclined” nonsense.

Unfortunately as currently stands, builds don’t even function now without both Mythics and Uniques and tempered and masterwork generally 75% right too.

Also for the love of doG, some new character models.

I dunno… I really dislike this whole “make the game easier” sentiment. Good loot should be hard to get, and right now if you put even a little bit of effort into it good loot can be obtained rather easily.

Point 1:
You want uniques*? Run a few heltides, get the boss mats and run those bosses. Very easy to do solo.

Point 2:
After killing bosses or with whatever leftover spectral ash you have, buy a bunch of reputation scrolls, make a new character, and instantly advance to get the resplendent cache

You will never make everyone happy, just have a vision for the game and stick with it.

This is objectively not true if and most everyone is, looking for specific items.
P260 something and still haven’t found a good non-Unique anything besides boots for my Barb that I haven’t subsequently then also bricked trying to temper.

I have not had my coffee yet, and looking at this on my projector…and that is what I read with my blurry eyed vision…and I thought…man he nailed it. :hamster:

Weird, you have 25 more Paragon than I do yet I would class all of my equipped items as at least ‘good’. Some I would consider ‘very good’. None are perfect.

I also don’t think I have bricked any item, definitely none worth remembering. 3GA items get 16 Temper rolls (or is it 18 if you include the initial rolls which don’t cost Temper attempts?). I know when using the scroll it went up to 8. You also get to keep whatever you have, so if you at least hit 1 you only need to hit the other one.

To be fair, the better your equipped items the more likely you are to ‘brick’ because it’s harder to improve the Tempers and if you don’t the GAs likely won’t make up for it. Also some builds use more or less uniques, which changes how much you rely on Tempering.

I suspect your idea of ‘good’ aligns more closely with my idea of ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ though. I’d class anything with 1 GA, 3/3 Affixes and 2/2 Tempers as ‘good’. Add another GA and good rolls on Tempers - very Good. After that we are looking at ‘close to perfection’ which is indeed hard to get. Rightly so, I think.

Yeah I mistyped. For ancestrals you run pits and get obols then spend them at purveyor of curiosities. Still very easy

This is what you get when the game is viewed as a marketing tool and the people behind are salespeople. Just enough to make the sale. After that, on to the next false ad.

Since we don’t have much pack space, it would be nice if we could salvage the unused runes for chipped gems.

Agree, but the problem is bad loot is too bad in comparison. Also not a fan of the fact that best loot can be made reworked to become completely uncomparable

There should be more types of loot that can be brought to decent level and be specific in use… For example - Forgable item (has more points in MW), Temperable item (can have 2 Tempers), Socketable (can have 3 sockets, up to 4 if in Chest armor), Enchanted/Corrupted - has 2 less affixes but can have one extra Aspect on it… Also put some extra socketable types (socket on paragon or an empower/amplifier, for example all chance % based affixes on this item have their values increased by 4%)

Also - don’t see a reason why only Ancestral loot can be MW-ed all the way (I mean I guess it’s a pre-Torment vs post-Torment thing but they can just make that restriction to Torment itself instead), like, there’s no reason why not allow a non-Ancestral to have 12x MW IMO…
