Happens with bad hops on WoW all the time. I have been using optimized DNS servers to help alleviate the problem for awhile.
More lack of self awareness.
Complaining I cherry picked one tiny thing while dodging everything else while being a pseudointellectual by failing to know what strawman even means.
You complain about people talking about stuff they have no idea about while your entire post is hurr durr
I re-played the main story one more time since Iâll always skip it from now on.
The cut scenes have occasional âloading-likeâ stutters nowâŚ
My system is well over spec with a fresh install of windows. Itâs just the game.
okay cool
got me rolling
If you think a 3060TI isnât a good graphics card then you are rolling because youâre trolling.
I play on ultra high settings and I get 130 fps easy. ((because I purposely limit frames in the graphics settings anyway ))
Ya, thatâs why I can play PoE perfectly without lag with 10X more monsters and affects going on the screen while D4 is lagging constantly. It just must be my terrible internet connection with my messily 85Mbps⌠![]()
Running on a GB connection, both the wife & I have had stutters at completely different points with both systems well over spec. There have been points where her latency was in the 100 range and mine was up to the 700~1200 range for a period of 10 to 30 seconds, and vice versa with herâs shooting through the roof on the same network connection while mine was in the 70 range, with no explanation for the reason for it â other than that the server/host network itself was stuttering, underpowered, or dying. Most of the time it is stable in the ~90-115 range with where we are at and playable - but there is then the hiccups that make us wonder if theyâre trying to run the Blizzard side on old Cat3 Cables.
So we have to pay for expressways because blizzards cloud isnât optimized?
lmao.
You said âREALLYâ good. And then continue to brag with a 3060ti
which is the 3rd lowest specced card out of the entire 9 card 3000 series lineup.
So yes Iam still laughing, sorry
The stuttering you are encountering is due to the 8GB memory bottleneck on your 3060TI. The next time you encounter stuttering again, go to your resource monitor and check the amount of GPU memory that is being utilized while D4 is running. I can guarantee that 7 GB or higher of vram is being consumed. That you are trying to run D4 with a 3060TI on Ultra at 130fps is the issue.
âRoute optimization serviceâ sounds a lot like âsnake oilâ.
Iâd rather 100% bet that the current/late lag is them updating the game for next patch content even if weâre not being able to download it yet
It really doesnât matter where the lag/stutter comes from, itâs the inconsistency thatâs the issue
And the real question to ask is why 2 days ago the game didnât lag but it did last night for ex (instead of âpointing fingersâ and claim)âŚ
That is irrelevant, the 3060TI is an extremely powerful card, you can run several next generation yet-to-be-made games on this one card alone.
I never said best, I said really good. Yes, its a really good card. Its a mid-end card, I never said high end. Just because something isnât top of the line off the market, doesnât mean it isnât a good card. I imagine youâre the kind of chap that thinks upgrading to the next best card every year actually gives you a huge performance boost.
It doesnât, because games are not intensive enough to unlock those higher end cards full potential lol so yea, youâre just wasting money if you think you need super high end cards to have great performance. Laugh all you like.
I donât get much stuttering, I get mostly Rubber-Banding, which is a networking issue on the server side, which it gets worse at night when likely more players are on, during the day I rarely feel any issues.
I get what youâre saying about the 8GB mem bottleneck but this isnât the issue, I watched it and it never climbs higher than 40-50% ( usually its 41%)
Disabling crossplay around those times, helps dramatically.
Another thing I want to point out with frame rates is you need a monitor with a refresh rate = or higher than the games FPS to actually see the benefit which is why I purposely limited how many frames my game renders.
No it is the servers, I live in the SE us and its horrible especially during peak hours. They need a SE SERVER!
Yep itâs because of dropped packets most likely.
If servers between you and the D4 servers are stressed they can literally drop your packets and that doesnât work for UDP connections which have to arrive in order so the D4 server doesnât know where you are exactly in game and has to guess.
