This is awful. Imagine 10 of these characters at helltide with thousands of ants. Each of which does only 1 damage and there are 100 different types to be programmed? This is quite preposterous sowwie!

Imagine that the 1 Damage instead accumulates and DoT.
1 hit = 1 Damage / second
2 hits = 2 Damage / second
…

What is fun is precisely that the amount fun is not limited by a Skill Tree or by runes. N variants of the same item can be rolled, but with different Pets. It makes the item very juicy and the gameplay super flavorful.
For example Weaver Ants could slow enemies with the silk of their silkworms slaves. Tsetse flies could put enemies at sleep. Dung beetle could push an enormous ball of sh*t. So much possibilities.
This would take an army of devs just to make this one change or item. Its completely out of realm of possibility. 100 different ants. Like how high are u right now?
