In still excited about Season 1: new content and trying new classes! Logged into my Sorc last night and it felt pretty stable in NM50s, probably because I never stacked vuln or CDR (“yeah, that’s going to get nerfed”).
Sure I’m bummed that the stash and inventory management haven’t been improved, but that wasn’t expected this patch, anyways.
These forums are full of enraged people (who are all going to log in and consume product on the 20th), but where are the people looking forward to a new season?

Well I am still clearing 70s instead of 80s but it’s just a number.
Fact is, they changed nothing to make this game interesting. We have no endgame, we have no QOL changes, we have a class that isn’t working (Sorceress HI), we have devs who are creating useless uniques that only 1 or 2 players will see?
I dunno man. I’m gonna play S1 but maybe for like 2-3 weeks? And I am only playing because I have absolutely nothing to do currently. If I would get vacation I’d rather fly to Thailand than play this season but I don’t have vacation and I have time cause work is still “chill” at the moment.

you are the only one. And no, we are not going to be playing the season unless something changes radically. They ruined the game. Beyond wildly swinging a nerf bat around without any regard for the actual good of the game… they broke helltides and tree of whispers. Incompetent morons. I honestly wish that the entire community would boycott the season until the dev team are scrapped entirely.

Actually almost looking forward to seasons now… since WT4 is all about that bone spear.
But early game can actually enjoy minions.

Did you play D1, D2, or D3? All three had much less to do at launch.

I logged in and did a NMD 23 on my 72 Thorn Barb yesterday. Power had dropped aprox from 6.1k to 5.9. I imagined i was a little more squishy, but cleared it easialy enough.
I understand people are frustrated, but Vuln was too powerfull and it just got brought down in line a little. It will be more nerfs and buffs as we go along, i really dont care that much tbh.
I will be playing season one either way.

Yeah and I bought a car in 2006 that had no bluetooth radio and my new car in 2020 had a bluetooth radio in it.
The next car I am going to buy will hopefully have no windows, no mirror, no doors and no radio because that is how things should work. I pay more for more downgrades. That is what I expect.

vuln is still too powerful… nothing meaningfully changed. Its still mandatory, more than before as is CDR. This was beyond idiotic.

im no longer excited about bonespear. you no longer get the first hit applying vuln for free with the aspect. you actually have to use the “supernatural bonespear” for it now and would lose “paranormal bonespear” unless you just deal with it i guess.
it was a nice lil quirk when the aspect gave you supernatural bonespear for free lol
so now on a boss without adds you’d have to wait for the returning shard to apply vuln (and hope boss didnt move). meh.
I agree, but at the same time i wont spend time crying over it or quit the game.
No characters were deleted in the process, just do some adjustments.
I still have D4 installed 
but items were fun, alts were fun. even multiplayer gameplay was engaging.
D1 and D2 were absolute gold back in time and the best thing about them. You can play it offline :))
The difference is the very little content those games had were actually enjoyable to do, and you could do it whenever you wanted.
This game sucks and the dev team is clueless.

Some are enraged. Most, like me, are simply frustrated and disappointed.
And, no, I will not be consuming product on the 20th. I at least didn’t pre-pay for that and I won’t be paying for it until the game is fixed, complete and stable enough to not be so annoying, which will probably be Season 2 at least, since devs have said fundamentals like resists won’t be fixed until then (?) even though the nerfs can be done super quick…
I just apply it with tendrils.
I’m looking forward to the season. Going to play Barb HC again.
Looking forward to:
- Not having hamstring as mandatory. Will try to solve the dmg puzzle without having to roll damage to slowed/crowd controlled enemies.
- Not bypassing almost all defensive nodes in the paragon board just to get to next paragon board to insert another offensive glyph. Looks like all in defensive is the way to go in HC now.
- Not having a bugged HOTA as the only viable build in higher NM dungeons. Trying out new stuff since it seems to leveled out now
- Seeing people actually dying in helltides. Players who still built a glass canon.
- Not dinging level 80 the first 24h of playing.
- Not one shotting all elites and the dungeon bosses.
- Being a bit “scared” playing HC again, going at a slower pace, trying to solve a build puzzle on how to survive and at the same time output decent damage.
To bad though the sorc was hit so bad. I played sorc as an alt in S0. Just hope that it get adjusted/compensated for the even poorer survivability. Damage looks fine, every class will hopefully output less damage S1.

I’m torn. One minute I want to play S1, the other I don’t. It fluctuates.
However, on a positive note mobs don’t ignore minions anymore, golems move freely when activated and shadowmages proc their attack more often ^^
Im very happy that Blizzard made it easy for me to change to Baldurs Gate 3 and not look back! Thanks!!
