Hello everybody, this question might be already highly spoken about but I want to know if its possible.
Do Diablo 4 now allow for offline play?
I am a Diablo fan since Diablo 1, like most of you, but since 2 years now I am not able to daily play Diablo 4 because I started to work onboard cruise ship.
Would be great to have the option of offline play because I truly would like to continue having fun, not only play on my vacations.

It does not, and likely never will. People have been asking for this option since before launch. The game will never allow it at this point.
No fun allowed for working class I guess. He probably also doesn’t have much free time and doesn’t buy microtransactions so why would a big corpo care. Should have stayed at mom’s.

Plenty of other games out there for stuff like that. D4 will just never be one of them. When video game studios start to answer to shareholders you get a whole different product.
D4 very much should have an offline mode, but if fun is your goal, you would still be better off looking toward other A-RPGs which do offer offline modes, and more fun.

No, I have onboard but I need to pay for the package, which costs 10 euros per 3gb.

i live in boston this winter we have had power outages and my xfinity internet has gone out i would like to play offline during those times
id say you are best of with having some offline games on your pc you can play during those times.
unless its designed from the ground up, reverse engineering offline mode would just be like a hack. Plus all the characters would be offline, never seeing the eternal sunlight of the online spirit.
The devs already stated in a past campfire strteaming that offline mode off the table and that will never happen.
You ca play diablo 3 on consoles in offlline mode
Since it’s essentially an MMORPG, my guess is that most of the game is hosted server side, like WoW.
There are a few things that you can catch that support this. Some that come to mind are:
It doesn’t seem possible to have an offline mode in the same way that WoW can’t.
4 month bump wasn’t needed.
D4 is an online-only game. Internet connection required. Says so on the box.
