Tired of constantly opening my map when I could just have it up like previous D3 overlays and POE.
Don’t want to get banned for this QoL feature, thousands of players currently use this and I’m curious why you’d get banned for it as it’s the same map in the game just not in a tiny corner which is already hard to see since it can’t be adjusted.
I’ve tried scaling the interface and don’t have the option anywhere so this is my next resort. Some of the interface on a 1440p monitor (everything scales small and hard to read, I can almost not identify legendary items because of the color scheme (colorblind issues, the setting for this does not help and how small it is) and those of us with not so great eye sight need this overlay among other things such as the camera being zoomed in way too much making you feel uncomfortable or nauseous at times, the D3 camera was perfect.

Yes, anything that hooks into thegame memory can and will get you banned. There was even a recent post from a player where exactly that happened.

they would need to ban 30-50% of the playerbase for a map

People have already been banned for this, and there is no way that many people are cheating. maybe 5% if that.

Why they didn’t add a map overlay like in D2 Original (not remastered. There they f…ed up this too) is beyond me.
game still desperately needs ovelay map.
Why have you resurrected like five different ancient threads about this?
They’re not going to add it back in, they’ve said that multiple times already.
I’d rather Blizz continue to ignore these silly requests and continue to add actual content to the game, rather than a useless and deprecated ‘feature’.

Such an expensive game, with no content and no minimum things for the player. I warn you that it won’t be the new itemization that makes the game breathe… the game’s problem is much more complex.

Actually it’s reverse for me, D4 has thought me to turn it off in other games now

IMO this thread should be revived every month until we have an overlay map.
do please consider to add overlay map for the d4, it would help alot, the focus on the top right corner of screen hurts. maintaining central screen focus is ideal for posture as well as enjoying game to fullest, please consider this graet feature(overlaying map) to be added into diablo 4
