They have Diablo 3 on switch. I doubt it can run 4. Not enough power.
It’ll probably be on the next Nintendo console, but the Switch would set fire to itself if you ran Diablo IV on it.
D4 has completely destroyed Blizzard’s reputation. I don’t think Nintendo would be so stupid as to release scammy D4

Nintendo makes quality games. 3rd party just port it and forget it.

because usually the playerbase age is way lower on playstation
which might seem contradictory but most of nintendo players are long time fan.
Sure there is some children in it that plays only animal crossing and such (which is also widely played by adult)
but there is wayyyy more children playing GTA / Fifa / COD / Fortnite on playstation (even if rated “mature” ) than there is children on nintendo.

Not wanting a quality/full gaming experience isn’t my problem either. Get a pc it’s better, trust me.
Of course it is. D3 looks like a game made by Disney. Completely child safe.
That’s not enough.
We want a D4 card game.
We also want a national TV channel in all countries and nations that broadcasts D4 all the time, especially with the leading dungeon designer guiding us through this exhilarating experience.
We want a D4 board game as well.
We want a D4 theme park also.
We want the scientists and scholars to build the most powerful projector in history and have the D4 logo be projected at the night sky. Every single night till we die and for all future generations to keep in remembrance.
We want government subsidies, or funds of other sorts, to provide a copy of D4 in every home.
We want legislators to make laws that make it mandatory that each and every single person MUST play D4 at least 4 hours a day. If not, this should be a capital crime.
We want a geopolitical union: United under the banner of D4. All countries unite in D4.
D4 on nintendo switch IS NOT ENOUGH to do justice to its overarching greatness.

It was the second highest game sold in July. Somehow, it’s still selling.
That said, OP, they barely were able to get D3 on Switch. Highly doubt Switch can handle D4. Maybe Switch 2 years from now when Nintendo upgrades their hardware.
Im 45 i play on a switch its awesome, slay the spire or boltgun is hella good plus being able to play Dark souls or D3 on the plane is great

D2R is on the switch and personally my computer was heating more on D2R than on D4 despite having nice hardware.
Also, many game way more beautiful than D4 are on the switch : warframe for example.
Even X on the WiiU was quiet impressive
Though of course it would have to be downgraded and that is why it’s not released on it : to avoid the development cost (whereas for play/xbox they have relatively the same power in term of hardware, hence less dev time between their differences)
It took them 6 years to figure out how to get D3 on Switch, despite it being on Xbox and Playstation 4 years earlier.
