With many nerfs and needing a full set of at level gear rare and above (which is just unrealistic and you’ll out-level before you find a set, and you’ll also need to play THE BEST build this game offers. No not for class, the game as in if you aren’t playing the best then you’re garbage and you’ll never be able to solo this game. Uninstalling this garbage game, this is a warning to those who don’t have a top tier skill in gaming because you WILL need someone at somepoint.

So confused what part can you not solo?
The main game upto world tier 2 is easy soloable even with random builds
By the time you hit level 30 - 80% of the drops is going to be rare
15% will be magic
5% will be common.

Strongholds. Just deleted at 40 necro because at level gear wasnt dropping and got me in a permadeath loop.
Even strongholds are pretty easy to solo
My friend went necro and just solo’d all the strongholds back in level 30
since he got bored waiting to finish campaign with me.
So he keeps popping into my game to do my strongholds.
Sounds like you are trying to force incompatible skills to work together or using your skills wrong.
My Friend only figured out by level 50 that golem has an active skill with a cooldown.

It feels quite soloable so far.
However, Blizzard needs to balance things much better, so group play is not stronger.

Level 59 minion necro with army of the dead and decrepify. I’ve yet to party with anyone, or ask for help with anything. I’ve cleared every Stronghold I’ve come across. As a completionist, I’ve been going through the renown board, and filling everything out, even though I’ve unlocked the things across the top. And, I’ve been doing it in tier III.
Not sure why you’re having such issues. But, as a fellow necro, I want to help. So, let me ask you a few things. What’s your gear like? Are you using the bone golem to tank for you? Seriously, in a solo build, the bone golem makes a ton of difference, as he his active ability is an aoe taunt. It isn’t perfect, but it’ll keep most of the fire focused on him, not you or your skeletons.

Didn’t ask for your friends experience as i spend hours doing that and didnt ask but since you aren’t quite understanding what I’m saying, ill refer you to read my original post again as i already mentioned i looked into other builds.
Means if you are struggling you need to learn from your mistakes.
The fact you can’t do it, is purely a “you” issue.
If you are finding it hard lower the difficulty to tier 1.
Im soloing with “Maul” in dungeons > +6 lvls higher. 
Which is the worst class ever
Homie, the only things I haven’t solo’d so far is a World Boss, because there will always be other players around, and the Uber boss, because I’m just not there yet.
The whole game can be done solo. Dungeons, Sigils, Strongholds, Bosses, Capstones, all of it.
If you’re having a problem, either turn the difficulty down, or try another build. Either way, Blizz already got your money, so your complaints and furiously mashing the uninstall button achieve nothing.
Sorry jack, but the devs emphatically stated that all content is meant to be soloable.
Let’s hope this will never turn to another WoW, where you are forced to group with people to finish quest lines above lvl 70.

I’m using a barb build that has no shouts and am running around WT4 alone with no problems…
Are you sure this game isn’t soloable?
there isn’t anything impossible to solo in any stronghold.
malnok though can be tricky, the goat giant that just spams endless frost novas has a kind of dps check. I have had to come back to him later on some weaker characters when they had better gear.
It is definitely soloable
Now is it FUN ? That is the real question.
It’s not fun to get CC or do annoying tasks during a dungeon by yourself.

make skill bar down to 2, 1 will be add vuln 2 will be make unstoppable
remove all else
