If someone told me I could play Marvel Heroes again as long as I was willing to agree to never play Diablo 4 again I’d take that deal in a heartbeat.

Marvel Heroes was fun as heck. It’s a shame what happened to it. I don’t have the details, but it seemed like its downfall came about due to terrible studio management rather than being a bad game. It was great on PC, but then they started butchering systems in order to try get it going on consoles. Reminds me of another great ARPG franchise…

Marvel Heroes was a masterpiece. Even if the servers shutdown and we could only play offline today, I would still play it over any other ARPG. Wish they had private servers though :frowning:

Definitely not my dream game. definitely full of problems. Not even my favorite looter because uniques were easy to get. Definitely not the best loop because once you had artifacts and legendary weapon you were basically done. For some reason I kept playing it like some addict needing a fix.

Maybe it was the never ending goal of finishing gearing all freaking 50 characters lol

That game needed some more polishing and balancing. I was surprised it fizzled out so soon.

They should re-make Marvel Heroes in Unreal 5.

It had a lot of issues, but it was the best Marvel game to play when you felt like playing something Marvel related. New fancier looking ones aren’t as good.
