After trying 5 times to finish this dungeon, I’m here to report that there really is a problem and that I’ve seen reports that this dungeon hasn’t been working for over a month.
When I reach the end of the dungeon where the mission boss should appear, kill the Rotten Wanderer, but he doesn’t appear and nothing happens.
Still not working. Blizzard really should fix this already, it’s been months. So they even care anymore or are they to busy to come up with new item shop stuff…

Still bugged on PC. Hey blizzard, since your “guidelines” say I can’t criticize people (cowards), it says I can criticize ideas. How about this, the IDEA of putting a mount on the loading screen instead of using that time to fix a bug that completely hinders progression of the game is beyond idiotic.
One look at the video they put out hyping up the expansion tells you exactly where their priorities are.

Got the same problem with missing quest NPCs.
Same experience. Dungeon is bugged.

Same problem PS5 as of 03Oct. Last dungeon I need for challenge…
Bug still exists as of October 5, 2024.

Can confirm this. The final boss in Haunted Refuge Dungeon does still not appear.
