This is the best ARPG game right now and it currently has no competition in the market. Look at twitch, Diablo 4 = 200000+ viewers whereas PoE = 500 viewers. D4 is the best ARPG game right now and there is no game that can literally come close to it. Path of exile sucks donkey balls, its so bad. The people that are complaining on the forums right now are PoE fanboys. Mark my words: Diablo 4 = Game of the Year 2023. Hell I won’t be surprised if it wins Game of the Decade.

Tears of the kingdom? You mean that Zelda game for kids that my son is playing right now? Come on man. Diablo is a franchise for 30+ yo adults. Let the kids have their fun with Zelda and let us adults have our fun with the gigachad franchise called Diablo.

There is far too much wrong with the game to be game of the year.
This game is going to be a ghost town really quickly as players realize there the game is a complete slog past level 50.

Hard disagree. Blizzard has started that they are already working on 2 expansions. That means we will get yearly expansions for D4 and quarterly seasonal content. The future is very bright for D4. As I said before, there is no competition in the ARPG genre anymore with the arrival of Diablo 4.

I played the OG Zelda on the NES with the nice gold cartridge and brought TOTK, I am in my 40s and still enjoy playing as Link as he wonders around. A game don’t have to be all dark and gritty as it nothing to prove but to have fun and I also played the first Diablo.
Nintendo have the bigger fanbase as they have many many many adults still doing smash tournaments and streaming their games, so it a high chance they just give GOTY to any Zelda game as it a older and bigger franchise

Troll or not, this game will improve over time like the past versions did. We will never get exactly everything we want, but we will get some cool things.
