D4 Fanboi Review of Season 7

I love this stupid game. Season 7 gets a 4/10. The story was solid. The rest was fail.

-Rune drops…fail
-Witch powers…how do you create a piranha tornado power and not give it to anyone? Alters=100% fail.
-Spiritborn nerfs=fail. Would’ve loved to have played this class more this season but more Barb. WW/Quake was fun but lazy.
-Thanks for the raven pet but put a lame store pet out at the same time everyone is finishing season 7…Almost as absurd as the alter mechanic. The raven was capstone. You couldn’t wait until season 8? (full disclosure I bought one and immediately felt like a sucker)
-OMG rewards still absolutely suck I don’t think I equipped a single item! And shards don’t matter cuz mythic uniques drop better than ga’s. So broken.
-Season rewards…It’s not a good value if the armor sets look the same every season! C’mon!

There’s plenty more but I’m getting bored. This one was a letdown. 2 weeks in and done but for the event and… the D4 team has some work to do to keep those store revenues coming in. Can’t wait for Season 8 and thanks for all you do!

When everything rains from the sky rewards feel lackluster. This is the problem when you give everything to everyone immediately with little to no effort.

Id actually give the season 2 or 3 out of 10. Everything was done super fast, finished the season last week. Logged into today to get the luner mount which was a boring grind that took about an hour.

I still need to login to complete the battlepass, but I dont have the will do it.
I played each and every single season, and although content creators keep sayin this is their best yet, I just dont feel it.
