Plain and simple, do y’all think the devs here have time to fix all that is wrong with this PTR before season 5, I’m pretty firm on no personally. Sorc needs a rework or something, they broke druids and rogues, barbs still op compared to non bugged builds, new event very lack luster
Wasn’t expecting this topic for a couple of days. People asked the same question for S4.
The better question you should be asking is what the game will look like when the expansion hits.
Yea see that’s where we are different, the expansion isn’t even on my mind before seeing gameplay, let’s see how they fix this mess first lol. I can’t be excited for an xpac to a broken game

Everything is wrong to the point of refund. So nah they can’t do a years worth of work in a month.
i mean they have 9 years in development and the best thing they came up with was to make an absolute clone of d3, adding new mechanics from d3 every season. Of course, a month and a half will not be enough for them to fix something for the season.

Oh I agree, but taken the history over the year. I say they’ve been moving in the right direction so far, just my personal opinion. Now I won’t make a judgement on S5 just yet, or how it will turn out, as we’re only in the middle of the PTR right now.
That being said I’m a critical thinker. I don’t jump to wild conclusions based on a few bad aspects of a PTR. I’ll give my feedback, wait for changes, then make an assessment.
I still have no plans to preorder the expansion, and this is coming from someone who currently enjoys the game. There would have to be a lot of changes to really entice me to buy it now and not when it goes on sale. I’m a patient man though, I can wait.

What broke? I know COmpanion Druid has a bug but even without the bug it looked strong. What else broke?

Agree here. I think the idea of it is just to be a little side game to the pits. I do agree that if the point of it is to be another primary system that it cannot be fixed tbh
I am a lore guy so I want to check that out in addition to the “new” area, I run solo and take my time.
Not sure about the new class yet but the mercenaries interest me.
