Hi, once or twice every hour the game crashes. Of what i can figure it is the overloading of the GPU (RTX 4080). It is running everything between 30 to 80% load but then I notice that it kind of only builds up on the lower end of the load scale and then it goes to a 100% and the game crashes and the pc freezes for about 5 secs ( assuming GPU resets).
Then I went to the forums and checked for help. Blue post tells me to close other apps (though this is not a CPU problem as the load on that is impressively low, read under 20%). This is a newly build PC so the install is fresh. Also checked all drivers were updated.
Well, then i had to reset ingame to default settings as they apparently describe the behavior as working as intended.
Im only playing on 1440p… but yeh with the default on all it changes is throw my targeted FPS up to 150 from 100 and adds vertical sync.
And you know; same thing. Still crashing due to same problem.

It’s not about the amount of load. For example, you can set MSI AB so that the fans spin at 40%. Under heavy load, the card will overheat. Other applications may do less obvious things. For example, the MSI AB overlay (RTSS) can conflict with the game, it is built into the game, and this can cause all sorts of problems.
I thought i was the only one having this issue. I went to change zones to do a legion event and it froze for 5 sec kicked me off and in that timespan (of me logging back in through 7 loading screens) the event despawned. I big mad.
