I hate diablo 4 its a remake of d2 which is nothing but quest after quest. I tried the beta weekends and was highly disappointed. I hope d3 contines otherwise i will be stopping play period.

D3 is slated to have S29 and S30, and after that no new seasons just rotating of the older seasons at random I would assume. To each their own, but after playing D4 I can’t play D3 anymore it doesn’t hit the same.
I would add however, what you played is NOT the whole game. Even in D3 you needed to do the campaign once if I remember correctly from all those years ago.

What exactly did you want from Diablo IV? I’m genuinely curious. That is, if you feel like putting it into words.
Maybe you’d like something like Torchlight? I seem to remember endless floors of fighting, and you could send your pet to sell stuff so you didn’t get interrupted. I don’t know if it had a lot of quests, though, If it did, I’d be willing to bet they were rather simplistic and possibly skippable. I think the first game was single-player. There’s a free demo on Steam, too, I just checked.
If its the quests that bother you then dont do them. Do the main storyline and grind events, and dungeons. There are over 100 dungeons.

i dunno TL2 is an awesome game. nothing like D3.
D3 had quests too, maybe not as many… but… thing is… you can just run main quest… like you did in d3. and most likely skip all of the story after X point. to just go and level. After you reach first town, leave and go where the F ever. Although think we all gonna have to do one quest period which is mount… but thats also optional.
Even sooner than this actually, Season 29 will be the last new season and from S30 onwards it’ll be old seasons on repeat

What i hate most is they geared it to brain-dead kids who are too dumb to actually search a map so they made all the dungeons boringly linear and have no exploration in the game other than opening world map!!
Also the skill tree feels like that crap diablo immortal mobile game ported over, i hate how it works and feels plus there no mana potions or changing skills attack elements like having an electric hydra etc!
Waited so long just to have whats essentially a mobile game on console or pc.
Blizzard are just money grabbing now.
What dungeons??? Nearly every dungeon is a small single room and not worth doing. The few larger ones are all styled identically so that’s juat boring.
There IS a little map exploration needed to find the statues, but that’s a one and done.
You talkin about D3? Cuz that’s D3.
They simplified the dungeons after people were complaining that they are “too complicated” and there was too much backtracking and exploring.
Now people complain about the simplified dungeons, of course.
That’s how these game work don’t you know. Dungeons too long people complain, dungeons too short, also complain. Another example, game too hard vs game too easy. And my personal favourite, all the dungeons are the same vs why did you nerf the 1 dungeon I was running over and over again.
The devs are in a lose/lose situation no matter what they implement. Eventually they may give in and we get a D3 reskin where everything is easy, all the dungeons are the same and the level grind and power creep are endless. I would like the game to make it a few seasons at least before that happens.
