I think the central, core problem with D4 can be attributed to what I call “The Origami Effect”. So we all know that origami is the art of folding paper into amusing animal shapes (or sometimes vegetable shapes). But think about this, the paper is still the main thing. Paper is a useful medium. Trying to fold something 55 times only serves to frustrate.
In the same way, D4 is a useful medium (video game) but trying 55 different ways to play it will only end in a poor experience. How do we fix this? I have 2 solutions:
1- eliminate the necromancer class
2- duplicate NMD and in the second iteration allow for all seasonal effects to be used
Also, origami can cause paper cuts so that’s another reason to play D4 rather than fold paper.
I’m thinking, just do away with classes altogether. Afterall, it’s not how you allocate your skills or paragon, but instead, the loot you find that defines playstyle/build. So why have a character, let alone a class?
So you have some petty problem with the necro class. Just come out and say it. Your post is meaningless drivel but you think it makes you look smart and creative.
This the D4 forums. I guarantee you most see “origami”, their eyes glaze over and they go “NEXT!!!”
We have had enough sales gimmicks for this lifetime. Just come out and provide your reasons for hating necro.
