Hi, I just want to report that Diablo 4 has been almost unplayable for about four days now. The lag is unbearable and has ruined multiple runs. I can’t play with other players or join any of the multiplayer activities at all.
My internet connection is fast, stable, and expensive, and as far as I understand, the game servers are hosted by Blizzard, not Sony. I’d honestly rather spend money on in‑game cosmetics than pay Sony for PSN, because I don’t use their free games or services. Just a suggestion: please consider removing these restrictions so we can access all parts of the game we already purchased. On PC, there’s no limitation like this.
Until the Steam Machine releases, I’m stuck on PlayStation for a while.
PS: The wardrobe system also fails constantly. Most of my saved looks don’t load, and for the Paladin, none of the gear I earned in the past or bought is available to use. I invested a lot of time into that. Still dreaming of Uber Uniques, but we can’t join group runs in this state

Clearing the Cache on PS5
Turn off your PS5 completely (not in Rest Mode).
Press and hold the power button until you hear a second beep (approximately 5-7 seconds).
Connect your controller to the PS5 using a USB cable.
Press the PS button on the controller to activate it.
In the Safe Mode menu, use the D-pad to navigate to Clear Cache and Rebuild Database.
Select Clear System Software Cache.
Confirm by selecting OK. The PS5 will clear the cache and may restart automatically
I have this and it is unplayable for me too, fps drop randomly from 150 to 10 regardless of settings and what I am or doing. I treied all there is on the internet this last week and I quit. Removed Disgusted seeing that this problem is reported on the internet since 2023 and still not fixed. I wish you the best!
