D3 character in D4 **spoilers**

So i just made it to act 5 and now im kinda bummed. One of the early side quests involving going and finding

the corpse of Johanna the crusader. And to add insult to injury, it looks like she got taken out by some random bandit jobbers…

Kind of a depressing, but i suppose fitting for this world, ending to one of my favorite characters in 3 (and HotS).

This was the first mention of a d3 character ive seen. Curious if there are more. I haven’t memorized all their names’ so i could have missed some.

theres d2 folks too andariel in act 4 duriel in act 6 and the hound that opens the blockage for u is mephisto

but wheres diablo how can this be called diablo without the Lord Of Terror himself maybe an expansion who knows ???

There were some diablo statues and all 3 prime evils were mentioned. Bout it.

yeah i meant more of like the player characters. Valla, nazeebo, sonya, etc.

There is also the tree. You know. Tinfoil hat on* The thing that started the whole existence.

At the end you get visions of the prime evils. They’re coming.

Yeah. These mf demons don’t die it seems. The angels, I don’t know. Humans/nephalem just 1 life except Zoltun Kulle. Nephalem was not mentioned at all by the way. That lore part is weird in D4. It’s like they want to erase that from D3.

Yeah the lack of the nephalim was odd given at the end of 3 they acted like he might be a possible villain.

Maybe at tail end of D4. The swamp power/tree/snake god seems to not be part of sanctuary.

Problem with the nephalim is he is stupid broken. Bro single handly defeated diablo who had absorbed the other two prime evils. Probably why they want us to forget him lol.

Didn’t the angel of death also absorb them and tons of soul as well. Crazy amounts of power level. Probably over 9000.

Yeah that happened too. Honestly if the Prime Evils comes back and he sweeps in kills them and fights you it’d be hilarious

is it the same Johanna? crusaders take the name of their master and johanna could have left the order or “disappeared”. it could be the former apprentice that you found.

There is an old man in one of the cities who has same VA as scoundrel from D3
Although that’s not him, just old man

im not 100% sure actually. do we know how many years d4 takes place after d3? if its within a decade or two i would think it would be the same person.
the corpse has short hair on the one side you can see so… dunno. i just assume.

d4 takes place 50 years after d3.

Hmm, well if thats true then it probably isnt her? Doubt she was still out crusading at like what, 70-80 years old?
Guess it was maybe d3’s apprentice?
