This is seriously depressing to look at. Everything in D2R is so much nicer, polished, has more feel and thump.
D4 is completely anemic.

D4 spells look weak and sound weak too. lol! i think even D3’s spells looked better
the lacked of mana potions in D4 really killed the game play imo. I don’t remember D3 being as bad. i played the sorc in D3

D2r spells look 10 x better than d4’s bland garbage.
Frozen Orb especially. Iconic spell and d4 made it look crap.
Including sound effects -
Skills just sound better in D2. Compare Bone Spear between D2 and D4. Why did they suck the soul out the skills? I am also NOT a fan of what they did to Bone Spirit in D3/D4.

The sound design on spells is disgusting. Frostbolt sounds like pathetic for example. D2 frostbolt had impact.
