Hello
Just wondering, is Cyclone armor passive (damage reduction) even working? Doesnt show anything on the resistances tab (i know is not resistance increase but damage reduction from non physical but still). Is there anywhere to be seen? I couldn’t find info on the char tab. Its on my skill bar and i can only see the preserving clyclone armor buff when it pops. Also, im using the clyclone armor aspect that gives physical reduction too.
Thanks for ur help! Just wanna make sure the passive damage reduction is not bugged
No, it doesn’t show up anywhere in the UI. I assume it’s working but frankly I haven’t heard anyone test it or claim otherwise.
Thanks man! This is confusing
Actually, in werewolf form out of town my Defense number is 11K standing static, when I trigger Cyclone Armor it actually drops to 9k. It seems I lose the “% Armor in Werewolf Form” while cyclone Armor is active.
Honestly, it just looks as the knock back is the only positive effect and even that is annoying.
Does anyone have a reason to even use this skill?
Edit: TL/DR, if it feels like you’re doing better w/it then use it. If not, then swap it out. I use it for the vfx.
It kinda looks cool and it can work the vamp soul explosion ability. But, idk if the ability reductions work. I have the aspect that gives it to my wolves & party members (now werewolves, OT going for Rise of the Lycans Theme w/this season).
Let’s be honest there are so many things that influence one another it would take many people to test everything out and verify them all (some it would be very difficult b/c there’s no timestamp damage log). Imo, they built a system they don’t have the resources to test effectively and players don’t have a means of effectively validating things for themselves.
For example and OT, there’s the vamp ability which % of move speed is added as a % to attack speed. But, there’s a lot of other things that can influence move speed (including a new aspect that adds 20% move speed as long as you haven’t been damaged recently). Also, what’s if any move speed does a person have when they evade and is it affected by move speed modifies, etc. If you add in the various slows/debuffs and not knowing the order of operations of how those things are calculated it can get to be way to much work to determine/figure out. So, in the end I just play by feel and go from there.
Thanks for feedback guys. Actually im always in human form, my build is companion tornado, so thats why I was asking. I dont have any other damage reduction besides paragon DR from being in human form.
