Imagine using Cloudflare or something to mitigate such things. Cloudflare admitted themselves they could easily handle Blizzard’s traffic based on a comment I made on twitter once, and the COO of CF answered, ha.

Not really “White Knighting” just stating facts. Went to go back to get a physical copy as a gift for my Buddy’s Bday and all 6 of our game stores were out. Felt like crap cause I know he likes to collect physicals.
The sales seem ok. Doubt it’s why they are getting attacked. That part was sarcasm.

Just saw this too when I logged out and tried to log back in. I tried to search the news and a bunch of old DDoS attack articles came up. It appears they have dealt with this before at least a few times…
No one in my guild logs on anymore, and this has been a very common thing. So my facts trump your facts…
