Played game from launch to like 2 weeks ago, very few issues, almost zero ctd’s. Went to jump back in today, crashing on startup at blizz screen everytime. Deleted pref file, scanned and repaired, uninstalled and re-installed, video card adapters up to date, nothing has helped. Looking for any suggestions to help get me back up and running.
I am sure everyone else knows what a CTD is except for me.
Looked it up and got:
Cumulative trauma disorders (CTDs) also known as repetitive strain injuries, repetitive. motion disorders, overuse syndrome and work-related musculoskeletal disorders.
Is CTD a common game/computer term, and I have just never heard of it?

I’m having the exact same issue. Disabled anti-virus, disabled Nvidia in-game overlay, reinstalled game, ensured graphics drivers were updated, scan and repair, and restarted PC a couple of times, so far nothing has fixed it.
Ok, I exited the following programs: Steam, Corsair Icue, and Samsung Magician, I also reset my GPU overclock back to default, and the game fired right up…no idea, dumbest fix ever especially since IT’S BEEN WORKING SINCE LAUNCH WITHOUT ANY OF THOSE CHANGES!
They don’t help players from the bug forums. This is just a place to report bugs.
If you want some assistance, you need to post in Technical support, and/or search the Tech support forums for similar problems.
