You make your first purchase, and you don’t feel too bad. But then you have left over Platinum and you don’t want to waste your money, so you have to continue buying more in a futile attempt to not be wasteful.
In essence, they’re priming the pump of monetization with this deal. Blizzard, I like your game but I hate your monetization methods as of late. Just let me pay a sub fee and have access to everything (or at least let it be earnable in-game while the sub is active).
