Starting up a 3rd barb for the season and I see people running Crowd Control Duration temper on a few slots for Bash barb. Its explained that Challenging Shouts taunt is a CC effect.
But it seems only the Taunt portion is lengthened, the damage reduction buff applied to the player remains the same duration. So is this really worth? Seems like a waste of a temper imo
I can’t answer for others, but If i had to use CC duration then it would be because my bash just stuns everything all the time and I don’t even have to build defenses if monsters are simple stunned 24/7 .
I mean what other tempered affix are you going to use for Utility slot on armor?
Yeah thats the only thing i see it helping, but these people are saying it benefits Challenging shout which is technically right but… kinda useless if its not lengthening the damage reduction window.
Depends but in the builds im seeing these people play i would drop Rallying Cry for iron Skin and swap the CC duration to barrier generation. That’s what I plan to do for myself at least unless someone comes in showing that CC duration does have meaningful benefit to challenging shout.
I didn’t even bother with either of those. I just went for World Fortune for more CC since I put points into “No Mercy” node.

Yeah thats what alot of streamers and guides running this build seem to say. Literally watching the buff on my character however seems to show different =(
Guessing its just alot of misinformation spreading, hoping I’m wrong and it does in fact work that way but it’s not what I’m seeing.
