Cross progression is broken

I have just bought a gaming laptop I originally played this game on the Xbox x I am deployed so I wanted to play on the computer. I read a little and started by connecting my Xbox and battlenet account and buying the game on battlenet so I have it on the computer. I made sure I had the right accounts attached and seeing as I only have one battle.net account and one Xbox account that was easy so then I loaded up the game and found that it didn’t work I have no progress on the computer it is as if I have never played the game before. Is there something I have to do on either end to get the progress to sync? If I can’t get my progress to sync to the computer I will just be making a return cause I refuse to start over with no progress at all and get everything I had all over again.

well i only play on pc myself so my help there is limited.

If anything, file a support ticket.

Make sure that if you consider a refund, it must happen in the first 2 weeks of the purchase, with less than 2 hours of playtime. (just adding it so you dont shoot yourself in the foot there)

edit: im sure youll get it fixed tho. i know for sure a friend is playing on pc and ps5 with all his stuff.

how do I file a support ticket I don’t see that as an option in the support menu? The accounts are linked I go to battle.net and look in the connection’s menu and it shows the right account connected still nothing. The only thing is that when I go to the connection’s menu on battlenet at the bottom it says “authorized apps” xbox does not show up as an authorized 3rd party app.

pretty sure there happened a little mistake somewhere along the way. maybe some authetification you forgot to do?

hopefully they answer that ticket its gotta by a sync issue or something

got it fixed? also the ticket might not be answered on the weekend, just saying.

Something had to go wrong. My stuff cross synced right away since launch. PC and PS5. Support should be able to help you with that. Don’t log that one in past two hours though in case for some reason you can’t get it fixed. I think past two hours play, they won’t refund.

yea as stated earlier, more than 2 hours gametime, or 14 days since the purchase

So here is the full story: I am trying to disconnect my Xbox account from this battle.net account and reconnect it to my other battle.net account so I can have my Xbox accounts diablo 4 progress on my computer for while I am deployed. Looking on this account it says it is not linked but the other account won’t let me connect the Xbox account to it I keep getting the “whoops! something went wrong” message without any error code. I have tried so much I don’t think it is the cooldown time as that only applies to connecting a different Xbox account onto the same battle.net account which I am not doing i am swapping the same Xbox account to a different battle.net account. What is wrong?

ah so you did have 2 bnet accounts?

well thats an unfortunate mistake for sure. nothing that wont be fixable in a support ticket tho.

No it’s not I use my pc at home and ps5 when I’m traveling for work and cross progression works fine for me never had a single problem

I hope you get it sorted out mate
