Most of this is probably nonsense.
Here’s Blizzard’s recommended specs for D4, from the Steam page:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: 64-bit Windows® 10 version 1909 or newer
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4670K or AMD Ryzen™ 1300X
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 970 or Intel® Arc™ A750 or AMD Radeon™ RX 470
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 90 GB available space
(The “90GB” is a lie now… it seems to be 125GB, even without VoH.)
You’re arguing that a 3080 amounts to “Walmart PC” (vs your 3090, kekw) and that’s your explanation for stability issues…
- when Blizzard themselves have admitted to destabilizing bugs on their end, including just yesterday -
- when plenty of forum posters with far better hardware than yours have complained about a variety of stability issues over the past year -
- and when my potato laptop with a mobile gtx1060 from 8+ years ago can run D4.
Just stop, bro.
