Crashing to desktop over and over… I reinstalled windows and everything twice every other game works fine I dont know what the issue is, no over clock nothing. no error or anything just exits the game completly and shuts off the battlenet app is fine, nothing to send about the crash or anything, or error code. it just closes the game i can get into the game but it just keeps closing but not the app

Constantly crashing as well. Mine seems to occur after using the waypoints a few times. My game freezes and I have to go to Task Manager and End the Task. So frustrating.

Same here. It Happens to me entering a dungeon. End Task and restart are the only fix.

Same and GPU stays at around 99% load while in D4 only.

I could be wrong but I thought you want your GPU to be around 100% load when gaming. You just don’t want your temps to be high.

I agree that blizzard does not care, they already got their money. I am having this issue also did all the suggestions. I also even tried lowering all my graphics to low and game just keeps freezing, and studdering and crashes if I do any teleporting 
so far season 3 is he worst in lag I have had, very frustrating and blizzard says there is no problem because this is not happening to everyone they act like this issue does not even exist just falls on deaf ears

Do you guys have any razer software or hardware by any chance?
No razer software here, just using logitech and steelsteries headset and never had this issue before season 3. My game just randomly freezes and my computer works fine, but the game takes no inputs. Have to open task manager to close the game and reopen it.
I have basically given up playing Diablo 4 on my PC because of how bad it’s been since the start of Season 2. Season 1 and before was fine, but since S2, it just does not work, My computer is pretty new for its parts (AMD 7700X CPU, Radeon RT 6800 XT GPU, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, etc) and yet it crashes. I hate Blizzard’s lack of good communication or feedback or getting into any support. Just give up with D4, it’s not even worth the hassle at this rate.

Go to settings graphics and uncheck peripheral lightning and you wont have any more crashes! At least worked for me. I do use razer stuff and it colors my peripherals according to some ingame stuff. But for me it normally crashes and even gives me the normal crash report, so you might have different issue. I played ses 1 and 2 without any issues and even as diablo started without any season. Idk what they are doing.

Thanks for the tip but unfortunately I disabled this setting and many others in season 2 when I started having fps stutter issues, those have been fixed now but the freezing/crashing of the game only started happening now in season 3.
I think there is a bug with the companion pet that causes the crashes and only way to fix it is blizzard.
They sold ‘crashes’.
And they are still selling it and they think it is playable, enjoyable.
So they are fired.
They fired employees, and when will they remove this game and MW III? Those games are ‘Live’ services, and they just crash!
What happens when crash?
Hardcore characters are murdered, Elixir buffs are removed.
MW III Zombies Items erased, cooldown timer starts.
Literally they are insane, mad. They are not normal. Mental disorder plus something they’ve got, own, have.
