CPU/GPU Usage on PC

Is anyone else seeing unusually low CPU/GPU usage but extremely high RAM usage? While running the game, I hover around 20% CPU usage and less than 10% GPU except during a few cut-scenes where the GPU spikes to maybe 30-40%. The D4 Retail process usually sits around 16GB of RAM usage, and nearly no SSD usage where the game is installed. I also use the Balanced Power plan set to a max of 85% CPU for just sitting around doing idle PC things and it kicks to full juice when a game starts, but not D4. It stays in that low-power state because it’s not registering any usage of the CPU for this game. I just don’t get it.

Is anyone seeing this?

Ryzen 5800X, 32GB 3200Mhz RAM, Strix 3060Ti.

ETA a day later: No one has noticed this or does no one care because it runs on whatever potato they are playing on so it doesn’t matter?

Most of saturday and sunday (european time), mine did the same thing… Used a TON of ram and froze…

This seems to have been fixed… I may however be wrong, but it does not happen for anymore…

It’s def eating up my memory big time as well.

Oddly, it seems that they patched something. Playing yesterday, it was only using around 8GB of RAM and acting pretty normally, except for the low CPU usage, never seen a game run at under 20% CPU usage in modern times. The GPU usage still bugs me tho. I just can’t figure out what they are doing. It loads up all the textures into VRAM, 8GB in my case on my 3060Ti, using the High preset and enabling DLSS for Balanced. The only usage other than the VRAM is the Video Encode section hovering around 12% unless a cutscene hits then it spikes randomly around 50-60%. I don’t get it.

The VRAM usage was nuts.

WOW I forgot to look at my CPU, GPU, & memory usage. OH that is right I never do I gave up on that stuff years ago. Been doing this so long it is like saying WOW you as old as dirt.

Definitely eating up RAM and VRAM to the max. Probably just performance issues they need to iron out or hopefully, they do.

I’m on a 5900X Threadripper, 64GB RAM and a 3080Ti and didn’t see a spike in the VRAM (which is funny, given I’m usually encoding 1080p to 4K video which tends to max the CPU over the GPU despite the calibrations).
