Anyone else getting big temp spikes?

This CPU runs hot as it is, but having (to my dismay) finishing Starfield without really going above 60-65 degrees, D4 is spiking randomly up to 75 or higher so getting the big booming fans all the time. The game cannot be more demanding than Starfield, Forza, Wo Long etc.

It’s not even when in mass combat. It’s when mounting, opening menus, loading new areas, etc.

Running:
AMD 7800X3D
AMD 7800XT
NZXT Kraken 360
2 x WD Black 2TB NVME
32GB - 6000hz Corsair DDR5

Just interested if other have same thing.

I have my fans speeds locked so no issues my side.

Mine are set to 75% until hitting 70 degree when they boost to 100%. I could just keep it higher but then it’s super loud :). Just seems odd that it’s causing such high temps on a game that’s not really that demanding.

75% is still really high.

What type of cooler are you using?

This has been an issue since launch. I have a huge thread about it here, but it was never responded to by Blizz despite tons of community engagement.

I started another thread here since the original was closed, but it hasn’t picked up the same amount of traction as the original.
