Apparently Blizzard puts all the players’ ideas into SB and it’s successful. After playing SB, Barb seems such a boring class because there is literally no synergy among different skills. Everything is counting on pure damage multiplier of Uber Uniques and it’s not fun. I still don’t get why the balance team keeps nerfing barb claiming “Barb has been strong for 2 seasons”. So many fun builds were nerfed to the ground
- Movement → Walking Arsenal damage multiplier.
Not sure if ppl realized this, a lot of Barb’s uniques now have movement speed but it’s useless on damage, especially 100k steps. Can we have that unique apply movement damage multiplier when all Walking Arsenal bonus are active?
- Armor damage multiplier.
We’ve been hoping the Armor damage multiplier for Barb for so long but now it applies on SB instead. I understand (actually I don’t because SB is a Dex character). But please allow Barb to scale the damage with Armor as well. Barb is Strength character and it’s tough. It feel so weird that SB has it but Barb doesn’t.
- Thorns.
The damage multiplier for Thorns should be scalable by some passives. Outburst and Tough as Nails are trash nowadays. We should have something like SB’s resolver stacks as well as the Temper scale. 2 → 4 → 9 → 13. The temper should be hard while bringing huge benefits. Right now, all Thorns damage is 90% from Max Life. All Barb Thorns aspect is appended after all the damage multiplier, which is so useless. The Fortified Thorns is ok but bugged with final passive. Barb requires so many uniques on Armors and there is no way we would temper it. We are seeking so many damage on Armors side instead, plus resistance and armor pressure, which squished all the defensive / util tempers slots.
- CD problem
Admit it or not, Barbarian is slow at everything. Slow at CD, slow at skill animation. It’s fine. Make it powerful then. 1-shot kills should be acceptable on Barb because it’s a strength character, not like dex characters. Scale the damage numbers of all the skills at least 5 times to match the slowness, especially on HOTA, Upheaval and DeathBlow. After Chieftain aspect nerf, the CD is such a huge pain. But it’s okay. Barb can be slow, but you need scale the damage accordingly
- 4 weapons is unique. How about Damage Multiplier on all attributes: Str, Dex, Int, Will
I tried to make Barb 3500 Str, 1000+ on others. It feels so satisfying to watch the panel like this. BUT, it has no damage. Why?? Maybe we should have a passive to treat all other attributes as Strength as well to at least double for triple the damage.
- Bleed.
Barb’s Bleed sucks after the nerf. I still think we should scale it on “Damage Over Time” instead of Crit Damage. “Damage Over Time” + “Vulnerable Damage” is a good combo to scale Bleed. Maybe eliminate “Damage While Berserking” on bleed so ppl can choose something else completely different to scale up Bleed damage.
- Aspects.
Please remove all the CD in Barb’s aspects. Such as “Every 5 seconds summoning”, “Every 4 seconds overpower earthquake after kill”. “Every 1 second apply rend for Brawl skills”. I don’t get it. The synergy could’ve been so good but these internal CDs killed them. Also effect after kills aspects, such as Explode after Kick/Charge kills, earthquake after overpower kills. Ppl won’t use them because it’s useless on single target.
