Does it need to be set to the hotbar to gain the passive dodge chance?
Even when I have it set, I can’t see the extra 15% on my character sheet.
Per Wudijo, no. If you have the rod of kepeleke unique, it does not need to be on the hotbar to give you the dodge chance or extra crit damage per close enemy.
If you don’t have the unique, then yes.
Don’t trust character sheets, they bug all the time.
That’s weird though since the skill description specifically says the dodge chance is a passive benefit.
EDIT: wait what does Kepe have to do with anything?
I think it’s actually the midnight sun ring, not the rod that has that as its property.

Afaik, any Diablo skill that has a passive effect that isn’t on your hotbar, will not give you the passive unless an effect like an equip bypasses it.
