Council of Balance

Critical strike as a mechanic was balanced to be in line with other mechanics, like overpower or armpit farts. You can balance skills and even affixes, not just classes

So this thread is basically your vendetta versus the critical strike change. Got it.

Please dont make a thread with some decent feedback into a back and forth that gets it locked or deleted.

Do you claim there is nothing wrong with D4 and I just imagine a developer hell?

Never did. I claim that when a development team needs help developing a game, then the game will never be good. That’s what you are asking if I am understanding correctly.

Quite the contrary. The best modern games started as community mods or player developed games. LoL, counterstrike, minecraft, pubg, etc.

There has never been a successful game on the long run which did not listen to an inner circle of players. From csgo to rocket league, every online game has a similar thing. And it is well reported.

PoE is notorius for this. As a matter of fact, most changes come from the community and it shows.

Still hasn’t edited the OP to reflect the truth of why the SC2 balance council was formed. It’s clear he isn’t making this suggestion in good faith and is more or less a bait topic.

I don’t think it matters what your opinion is about the reasons of a council to give feedback to devs. The question is why d4 doesn’t have one.

Games starting as community mods turning into standalone games isn’t the example you are looking for. Those games got made by a handful of people with a vision. It doesn’t work the other way around. Resealing a mess of a game for the community to fix.
if there is so little faith in the development team, then it’s bad.

That’s a different thing. Diablo 4 had a lot of this inner circle feedback from streamers in beta and that turned out… Well pretty bad.

Who cares what you think of games you don’t know about? Talk about D4.

We need a council of nuanced feedback because the balance updates are missing the point. Actually not even facing the right way.

Because devs should have strong enough a vision for a game and skill to implement it themselves otherwise they shouldn’t be the developers of the game.

And how is that going so far, genius?

That’s your opinion. I think they are pretty good.

Blizzard has blatantly stated they do not monitor or check these forums… if you want to “try” to influence the direction of the game go post on reddit or start a twitch channel, be good at the game and collect thousands of viewers so blizzard will listen to your suggestions. Otherwise this thread is pointless

the developement of d4 is “really good”?

We need a council of nuanced feedback because the balance updates are missing the point. Actually not even facing the right way.

Words are hard.

DayZ also needs to be on that list.

" Help " is a tricky word.

People drowning need " help " but ppl trying to learn to swim better need a different type of " help ".

No1 is asking for the community to " save " the game. I think hes saying the devs have access to some HIGHLY motivated and knowledgable people, why not get their input and expertise as additional data to be considered.

Yeah. The game is died and your argument is “I like the direction”.

Go and play s2. Why aren’t you playing s2? Are you waiting for my feedback?

Is that why the servers are currently overloaded? Did they switch em off?

The hampsters are unionizing as we speak.
