Could someone answer my question for characters existing at level 50 on Eternal Realm

I would like to know like in the PTR, we could play our characters at level-50 immediately without having to create a new character and start all over again. Will this still be possible when the expansion launches? Thank you for your answers.

Yes, your current eternal characters will be adjusted to level 50 and all your gear will be downgraded as well.

Will you be able to access the new VoH content immediately? Probably, but we’re not sure. Blog they put out is very poorly written and assumes you’ll be starting a new character.

Yes you will be able to. Your characters will be set at level 50 for anything that is already above level 50. Yes you will be able to do the campaign as well.

adam fletcher confirmed that you can play VoH campaign with your current eternal char.
No need to create a new one on eternal realm

With your characters “adjusted” to 50, your downgraded gear and the usual season nerfs, you might just as well start a new one. Don’t know what happens to the Paragon board when the adjustment is done.

In PTR if you had paragon maxed you started with no boards and I believe 200 points. not sure if it will be the same on live.

Edit here is the exact language used for PTR:

" If your character is Level 100 currently, once these changes go into effect, your character level will be reduced to 50, and all 200 Paragon Points your character has earned with be converted to Realm-wide Paragon Levels. If your character is Level 50 and below, nothing will change for them."

Yes, and if you had a level 100 Character with full rep, then you will have 225 paragon points to play with once you have relevel to Lvl 60.

To Level from 50 to 60 just do the strongholds as they provide about 1.5 levels per stronghold (at least they did in PTR). Would take about an hour at most.
