Like many others here, we cannot get couch co-op to work on PS4. My son and I wanted to play a bit of couch co-op, but p2 simply isn’t logging in.
P1’s inventory screen moves over to the left side, so it SEEMS like it’s attempting to connect, but nothing seems to be happening.
We are currently just waiting to see if P2 eventually shows up while he is playing.
P1 is a PS+ member
P2 DOES NOT have PS+
P1 ps4 account IS correctly linked to this battlenet account.
P2 ps4 account IS correctly linked to a different battlenet account.

we were both on ps5 but I couldn’t get into the game until the first city

Yep we were going to try this as well, but my son lagged out before getting to the city, now 90 min queue…
I will update if we manage to do it
can’t get back in now either. Some people are speculating about a hidden queue time and at least one person said there isn’t so I don’t know which is true. I don’t know if I got in the first time because my wife arrived at the city or because of the time in queue, but now when we log in the city im not able to instantly get in or even after 15 mins ish so it might be the player 2 is waiting the full queue time to get in
Right now, as soon as he leaves the cathedral of light, the game gets completely bogged down. He can’t move around in the city…

I can confirm there is a hidden queue timer for player 2 to join. I experience the same issue on my PS4 with my wife.

Bump on this. Waited in the starting area and the 2nd player prompt popped up after 40 minutes or so.
