Couch Co-op Console Recommendations in light of PTR

Wanted to pass on some feedback from a Play Station Couch Co Op multipler point of view. This based on PTR streams.

  1. When playing couch co-op on PS, player 1 and player 2 names both come up in same colour text (blue). If the 2nd player name text could be a different colour (like purple) then it would be easier to differentiate between the 2 players amongst many things on the same screen.

  2. Same comment in terms of the player highlighter, currently we cant choose seperare colours for player 1 and 2. Being able to choose separate colours for player highlighers for player 1 and 2 would help with visuals a lot.

  3. Speaking of visuals, Can Hell tides have less red glow on the environment? The monster theme being red is fine, but looking at too much red in the environment as well makes the look a little blant, (especially during day time hell tides) and too much red takes away the uniqueness of the environment of each of the zones. The red glow of the environment of hell tides also make recognising game mechanics much harder. So in general, please tone down on the red theme a little bit.

  4. Another comment on game mechanics would be that when skill mechanic visuals are very prominent (frozen orb, dust devils, etc), it will be extremely hard to keep track of characters and monsters and mechanics on screen, especially when playing couch coop.

  5. In terms of the other end game activities involving multiplayer play, reift / pit reward system for multiplayer seems very poor. there shouldn’t be a penalty for party play. Blizzard, please do not to kill multipler party play, which will die with the current loot system for pits. We need more incentive to play together, not punishment for playing together.
