Couch Co-Op Connection Issue

I am able to log in solo, but when trying to do couch co-op, there appears to be an issue getting the second player in the game.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I am experiencing this as well. Now I can’t even get into the game queue time went up to a 101 min. My wife and I love Diablo games and was very excited about this… this game got her into gaming and her very first beta and very first time getting excited about a game

Just the normal beta stuff it appears. It will clear up at some point.

The info said we do not need two PlayStation accounts, just different battlenet accounts, but we can’t get it to recognize the second player

Same issues here.
Xbox and can not couch co-op.
I know its EA Beta, but I have played betas before. PC and console.
I anticipated Hogwarts Legacy to be horrible, but that was one of the smoothest betas for console ive ever played.

This, this is atrocious.

And I understand EA Beta bugs, but a AAA game, beta should be more polished.

I had to make another account. Not a paid online one, but definitely another PSN account

Exactly the same issue. Logged in and started the game solo, but when my wife couldn’t connect I went to log out and log back in and got hit with an hour and a half que timer.

I took time off of work, what was I thinking??

Same issue, says press start to get second player in the game, we press start and nothing happens. Works fine solo, we both got our characters leveled up abit in hopes it would work but it didn’t, going to try to level up the second player a little more and try again. Hope they get it worked out.

I was able to play with my wife earlier today. We are on Xbox, and we have separate accounts. As you all mentioned, you press the start button and nothing happens. I continued playing for a bit (I don’t know how long) and eventually a character select popped up for player 2.

I had taken the time to create a character on both accounts before trying this, but I don’t know if that’s necessary.

Cheers, will try creating a character on each account.

And that’s it??? To play couch co op??

Yes. You have to go to second mission to get it to work

Thank you!!I was having such a hard timeeee

No problem. Accidentally discovered it lol
Couldnt progress because 'all party members had to be present ’ an i was like

Still can’t add 2nd player here. Maybe both players need to be past the point where you enter the city and gain access to the area where other players become visible?

Nope. I dragged my hubby there assoon as prompted. He was logged in so it notified me he had to be present in game.
