Copium šŸ¤”

Y’all who are saying this is a great game either haven’t made it through the campaign yet or are straight sucking that copium on a next level.

D4 is okay, it is not a great game. It does have a great foundation to build off of but the way the devs have been treating this game post launch, (nerfing op builds or classes into the dirt instead of buffing others, removing aspects if people are having too much fun with them, and the constant artificial road-blocks they keep putting in place with nerfing dungeon mobs) I honestly don’t think this game will retain 70% of the player base by the time season 1 launches.

There are just too many critical fundamental issues with the game, and with the launch of a game first impressions are extremely important. Even if they did want to fix all the things people are complaining about, they would either have to sacrifice key development time on new content or implementing the things players are most concerned about.

I want to see this game succeed but it ain’t lookin to hot. Hoping for the best.

I think the problem is that the general gaming community is just too stupid to enjoy games like these anymore.

And warzone will always be there for them.

D4 isn’t perfect but it’s one hell of a start and I’m looking forward to the future.

Been a long time since I have enjoyed a game this much at launch.
Druid is nearly maxed out, excited to start blasting on an alt

Not looking to hot how?

The fact it has a good foundation is something to praise the game for.

We don’t know if the game is good or bad until we see the season content. That is what makes a great ARPG. Fun, engaging seasons.

So you are half right. To say the game is great would be foolish. At the same time. To say things are not looking great is foolish. Like we have not seen the seasonal content. So how can you even think that right now?

and that’s why D4 is meme topic in every ARPG community lmao

mainproblem is that the game does not have any endgame. nightmare dungeons do not drop better loot. the endgame is split farming T0 dungeons. once you reached 100 you have a couple of days and realize there is no need to push nightmare dungeons because there is no reward at the end or on the way. this game is half finished or like wow stuck at phase 1. its not a full release

Agreed
This should have been in open Beta for at least 6months

can they start selling copium in the cash shop i think ive run out

And for what reasons? This should be good.

My point is, is who cares about seasonal content when the game you are playing has all the life sucked out of it and the devs keep turning on the ā€œguard railsā€ for us saying, ā€œoh no, we don’t want you all playing the game like this, we want you to enjoy the game how we want you to.ā€

Me personally, I can not stand that in role playing games. Given there are some limits to that as well. Them nerfing Iron Hold was really needed because even an average person could tell that was messed up.

There’s not many people who want to walk a path to happiness if the path is paved with shards of glass.

THIS HERE
I was thinking how to describe feelings I am getting from D4 and this sums it in a perfect way. It feels like wow phase 1, before T1 raids opens and instanced PvP begins …

I think waiting until seasons to judge the game is completely fair. The problem is people are coming in and saying the games perfect when others have valid suggestions or complaints.

Most of these people saying its fine are ones who are level 40-50 and barely touched anything outside of early wt3 or campaign, its very disingenuous.

I couldn’t agree more

Lvl 71 Rogue, still having fun. How can people be already burned out on the game?

What worries me a little bit is what the seasons will probably look like. Iā€˜m not a fan of creating a new character every season. I want to improve the one I have instead of putting it aside, but we will see.

I mean that is for every arpg.

POE did the same thing, people to this day still upset about movement skills nerf

Like, changes happen in these type of games. Would I like more end game stuff? Sure, but like I said. This is not even the first season. We get to play around master builds we might enjoy and get ready for season 1.

Now season 1 needs some game play elements that change things up. Im talking POE levels of change. If they can’t do that. Well this game will be rough.

But it is way too soon to make that call. And I still don’t understand your issue. Are you upset with the nerfs?

Yep, these people don’t know what lies at the end of the road.

most problems don’t show themselves until late torment which 99% of the playerbase will unlikely reach until way into season 1. Its like people expect to be able to consume content like as if d4 is on season 20.

I definitely don’t think D4 is great. There are tons of issues to address. Like, the Skill Twig is a joke and combat is not nearly tactical enough.
However, some of the complains people have here would make the game even worse.

Nerfing OP skills, builds and items is good!
Nerfing unbalanced dungeons etc. is good!
A longer lvling and loot hunt progression is good! It is crazy to hear people complain that they don’t have perfect characters after a freaking week.
Not being able to change build 50 times a day is good!
