Controller vs MnK

I played mostly on MnK to 100 on my first character, now I mostly use controller. I noticed a few things that were great and a few that just suck.

Stutter stepping: The difference here is HUGE. Playing with a fast basic skill you barely stop on controller, on MnK it takes like 3 times longer for just a basic attack and starting to move again. This is huge for something like Trampleslide. You can basically just hold the basic attack button and you proc Nature’s Fury while barely slowing down.

Loot: looting sucks on controller, especially when a chest drops everything in a stack. This is mostly due to gems taking priority over rare items. I am either forced to pick up gems and drop them or grab the mouse and click the items I want.

Switching: I’ve found switching between the 2 to be smooth for the most part. The biggest failure here has gotten me killed several times. Often when I loot with my mouse the controller stops responding. So far, the best work around is to click to move before trying to move with the controller.

Navigating the Blacksmith, Jeweler, and Occultist: This is my least favorite part of using a controller. When you select an item the game leaves you hovering over the item select instead of moving you to the upgrade/enchant button. This isn’t intuitive and I often find myself back in my inventory.

Launching the game: WHY? LOL When I launch the game with my controller on and try to skip the title screens the Exit Game option is immediately selected and the game closes. This one just blows my mind

Targeting: This is what kept me using MnK for so long in the first place. You can never aim past the first monster with skills like Trample and Teleport. I’m not sure how this could be improved without letting you hold the button to actually aim it and I think that might be worse. The other thing is with no targets when you teleport you don’t go very far at all. I think this should just take you to the edge of the screen
