Last season, I and a few others complained about controller drift issues. We were gaslit to hell and back saying it’s our hardware or that others weren’t experiencing it so it couldn’t possibly be true. I went and had my controller recallibrated and I even bought a new one. Same issue.
This season started and the drift is gone completely. That is until I downloaded the latest update. I was playing PERFECTLY fine for 2 weeks now. The moment I log in after the patch, My character is running toward walls.
I know it’s hard to fathom that just because everyone doesn’t have the issue that issue still exists. I know its not a glitch about a skill being overtuned. I know it’s not a glitch where 4GA mythics are dropping every 5 sec. I know I’m not some overrated streamer. But it is an issue and an annoying one. Please please PLEASE, someone look into this.
I went through 4 dual sense controllers in about a year because of stick drift. They are trash… I finally bought the edge & stick drift is never an issue you can adjust the sticks or even replace the modules I also recommend trying keyboard & mouse on PS 5 if you have a USB mouse & keyboard.

It is a bug if runeword items cannot be enchanted at the Occultist when using a controller.
It’s a bug if you get stuck on every obstacle/doorframe while using a controller.
It’s a bug when you scroll through affixes using a controller and it resets you back to the top right in the middle.
It is a bug if the controller support is poorly programmed.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve left keyboard and mouse when i stopped playing WoW 20 yrs ago 
I will try and get the controller you suggested, but I am 100% certain it’s a software issue. Still, if a controller is stable enought to counter a buug then I’m all in!
Having good luck so far with the GUOC Hall Effect brand on Amazon - 40 bucks
Another fix I used on my first drift was to swap sticks in the settings so the right stick is movement (which makes it harder to use skills on face buttons)
