On occasion, at random, the buttons on the controller do not respond. After waiting a second or two, or moving, they will respond again.
I can give no particular instance where this happens, but it’s only in combat.
I’m playing on the PC with a PS5 controller and it does the same thing for me. I know it has nothing to do with a cool down because it’s my main ability that generates essence. I’ve also had trouble with the sticks not responding, not allowing me to move on rare occasions. The reason I am here now is because the game just locked up, again. Had to Ctrl Alt Delete.
I’ve died five or six times now and every single time it felt to be lag related. I’ve got a video of my friend and me dying a second apart while fighting a boss and both of us had no clue what happened. It felt like a lag spike or what a lot of people call rubber banding. Everything was going well one second the next we were dead.
This still happens to me on multiple controllers. After pressing a few skill buttons in a row then going back to a basic or core skill, there’s no response until I let go of the button and press it again.
I experienced this as well during a dungeon. suddenly my basic attack button on my PS5 controller stopped working so i couldnt generate fury. it only happened that time though.
