Constructive Druid feedback

Overall I’m liking where druid is at. I’m running a full pet build with earthspike and landslide. While damage is lowish, it’s not that bad and the combination of tanking by pets, CC, and AOE DOTs is nice. Killed butcher 3 times on tier II so far, so that’s good enough for me.

QoL improvements:

  1. Spirit should have a base Regen rate, even if small. Right now if feels like a worse version of rage that doesn’t benefit from taking damage. If shape changed, and take damage, making it function like rage would be nifty. Starting a boss fight with empty spirit sucks. Yes there are talent work arounds and I’m using them, but the system is a bit Janky. Maybe this is added with class specific abilities we don’t have access to yet.
  2. Wolf pets should have a fast health Regen rate out of combat. Can’t resummon wolves to refresh health. I think their respawn rate feels good where it is.
  3. Would be nice if vine AoE center was targetable. Current iteration is still good, but would have a nice combo feel if could lock down enemies with vine, birb circle, then landslide from a distance. Makes a good escape move currently.
  4. Take the cooldown away from the earth spike ground wave legendary. This legendary effect feels bad due to severely low resource generation due to CD on a primary. Was excited until I tried to use it and realized it’s just bad lol.

There’s some legitimate gripes on the forum (world boss for instance, gatekeeping stuff behind that is silly) but the game has a good core which is all that really matters this early. We’ll be playing this game for years and hopefully it has dedicated support from Blizz for years to come and evolves for the better.

I agree with the spirit regen…

However, my earth companion build is destroying stuff … Landslide is nuts. especially bosses. Poison Vine great for AE packs…
