Constantly Rubberbanding and Disconnecting on PC

Same issue here.
Paid the extra money to play earlier and now, still can‘t play.
Very disapointed Blizzard :no_mouth:

They had servers go out, didn’t they? I read a twitter post where the bastid said something about them working on bringing servers back online. It is ridiculous though. Since official release I’ve had nothing but issues. During EA everything was fine. Pity they can’t seem to keep the servers in order.

I haven’t been able to get a play session longer than about 12 minutes since I’ve installed the game. Keep getting disconnected after about 5 to 7 miinutes. Can’t even complete dungeons cause i’ll get disconnected and when I finally log back in, I’ve respawned in town and the dungeon has reset…

Same here - latency is minimum at 250 … game is basically unplayable. How the standards in Blizzard have dropped these past years … payed premium to play a game and i’m watching youtube videos about it :expressionless:

I was getting rubber banding on ps5 yesterday…

If it counts d3 on the same machine runs flawlessly. Oh wait its not an mmo… tough one.

I am having the same issues. I started to track my internet and see if it corresponding with either a spike in latency or even a DC on my end. Nothing. Pretty frustrating experience considering I have had no internet issues on any of my other devices or content. If this continues at least let me play offline.

Same issue here. I haven’t been able to play for a few days now. Constant rubberbanding as soon as I log in. It’s not my connection because I can play other online games just fine. It’s only D4 that is doing this. Some kind of update on this issue would be great.

Same issue. Constant disconnects. I can’t even stay logged in for 10 minutes without getting disconnected. This is the most terrible online gaming experience I’ve ever had. Shame on you, Blizzard.

Before the official launch, I had no issues. Both the server slam and days before launch I had no rubber banding or disconnects.

Same issue. Constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. My wife got a couple hours in uninterrupted but when I tried to play it was nothing but constant disconnects. This is clearly a server issue and I’ll be on the lookout for a response and recompense from Blizzard.

Same issue. I have tried everything blizzard suggests to do if this occurs. Nothing helped… I got the early access, everything was fine until yesterday when the loggin issue started. I hope blizzard will fix this issue asap, since we can’t play the game we bought. Otherwise I love the game!

Had no issues with rubber-banding during early start, or even the first day or two of launch. Now the last 48-72 hours the game is unplayable. I can’t even move once everything is loaded, let alone attack.

Chiming in with a ‘me too’ comment. I just tried to play and died so many times just from rubberbanding and lag, that I had to port to town to fix my gear because it was about to break… and then got the ‘disconnected from server’ message… going to have to start a dungeon completely over just to finish a main story quest that I was already about half done with.

exactly this. i had no problems really at all until the servers died the other night. since then it’s been nothing but lag and rubberbanding to the point i just can’t play it. normal mob packs are rolling me because i cant react to their movements or see whats happening for a few seconds. not sure what is causing it, but its what ever happened after the server crash.

Same, same, same. DCs and RBs lots of fun…I did notice that there was less RB when playing Tier II vs. Tier I. That seems like a lack of server sizing in battlenet. How long until enough people stop playing so that those that remain have enough server bandwidth?

Game was working fine for me prior to 3-4 days ago. Like you said since then for me it’s constant rubber banding, dcs, and other bullcrap. If you hit control plus R you can see your latency. Ever since then so the past 4 days mine is anywhere from 100 to 1000. Prior to that it use to be 30 or under. Game is literally unplayable. I have been trying the same MSQ nearly 10 times over now because I rubber band and die to a normal mob and have to start all over. If it’s not that the game just totally lags out and I get disconnected. 100 dollars sure does get you a high quality product these days. I logged onto WoW Classic just to see how it was and on there my ping/latency was also way higher than normal. Nearly 200 and it’s normally single digits. Not sure what is going on but I am at the point now I am prob just gonna try to get a refund. I also live in the central/east US. To date I have never played an online game that was this terrible with dcs and rubber banding.

On about 8 disconnects in the past 3 hours. Real fun.

This evening I’m now on 4 disconnects in a row. I can play any game with no problem but D4 is just unplayable after 2-5 minutes. Very disappointing when you don’t have much free time as a parent and you finally get a chance to sit down and play and it’s wasted on server issues :(. I’m on the West Coast and my East coast friends don’t seem to be having any issues whatsoever.

Constantly getting these same issues as everyone else described. My internet connection is not having any problems with other games or streams. Diablo 4 starts up okay, stays around 98ms for a few minutes then suddenly spikes into the 400s and completely removes my control from the game and never comes back down until I force quit the game and restart.
