Constantly need to delete dstorage.dll to start the game

Every time I want to start the game I need to delete dstorage.dll so game won’t freeze on LOGIN screen.
It is very annoying - trying to reinstall, repair game - constantly the same.
If that file exists in the game folder I will stuck in the LOGIN screen and if I wait long enough it will enter to the main menu but it will claim that I need to restart to reconnect to server.

PLEASE FIX THAT

I would attach the picture but apparently I cannot do that here.

Are you using -disableds in the additional command line arguments in the bnet app as has been suggested in other threads?

Thank you - seems to work now with that additional parameter. Wonder what it actuality does and why they cannot just fix this issue without adding that parameter

Glad that worked for you. Direct Storage is a microsoft ‘feature’. I haven’t had any issues using it, but I have a suspicion that if anyone is using a non-standard C: drive for storage, it may cause an issue.

I suspect anyone that uses OneDrive may have a bad experience…

Yes, I have my game on Drive E: so it’s not standard location

Thank you very much
