I get constant crashes when just playing the game. Sometimes I crash when I press Charge, sometimes I crash when I’m just idle in town, sometimes I crash when I call my mount. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to why the crashes occur. This happens sometimes within 5 minutes of logging in, other times I can have the game open for an hour before a crash happens. The worst is when this happens during a vault and I end up losing all my Pearls of Warding…

Update 7:05pm: Had another crash. Here’s the ID: 7225685C-7105-4633-AA94-AE03D4D408EC
welcome to the club. There are now hundreds of entries. Blizzard just doesn’t seem to care. The best way to solve the problem is to keep quiet about it.
Yes, same. I updated my Nvidia game ready driver yesterday after making this post, and it did seem at first to stabilize things. I went 3+ hours of gameplay without a crash. However, middle of Duriel group and I crashed again. I logged for the night. Today, been playing ~2 hours, and have had 4 crashes so far. So, Nvidia driver update didn’t solve the problem for me.
I’m also having constant disconnection issues. I tried reinstalling the game, checked for driver updates and flushing DNS. For me it’s happening more when transitioning zones, but also at random in dungeons. Happens with and without crossplay enabled.
STILL having this issue. Game keeps force closing, taking me back to my Windows desktop, for no apparent reason. Hello, Blizzard? Are you there? Can you please reply? Ugh.
Report ID from my crash tonight: 5EDB0D11-61E4-468C-B701-EC8FC897A349
Same here, and as soon as I log back in, I have a constant Reconnecting to Diablo IV spinning in the top left of my screen, even though I am able to play, until it randomly drops me again. I have never had this issue until this past week.
Been crashing since S3 started, updated drivers updated windows try to clean up as much as I could from running. I have a 3080 i9 32GBs of RAM and this thing runs like Diablo dung. get probably 10 crashes a night. Pathetic, blizzard doesn’t care they have me and my wife’s money wish they would at least respond to some of these posts. I haven’t seen a reply in a while, at least D3 had help from devs. this game is crapped on every day.
wow what do you know crashed during a helltide legion event. piece of crap, hate this stupid game never was an issue till this season. blizzard just keeps making this game worst.
Gah!!! Crashing multiple times again today. The MOST galling was just after creating 15 seneschal stone caches, and opening 13 of them, I was just starting to pick up the stones and was disconnected! 13 caches of Governing and Tuning stones gone, just like that! Halfway through a Nightmare Vault run - disconnected again, ended up backing the Gatehall, sigil and potion gone. This really is a terrible gaming experience and has been happening for far too long without any remediation. >:(
Yep frequent random crashes. Latest graphics drivers no help. The only thing in common is a rapid sudden mouse movement or rapid mouse click seems to throw the game into a lockdown resulting in a CTD. Did the devs preload some untested crap in anticipation of the PTR or what have you? If so, I have to say it’s not working very well.
1st time posting (hate seeing that, and yet, here I am repeating it…lol) ANYWAY, figured I would “pile on” - I’ve been getting constant disconnects since they ended that Lunar event thing.
I’m able to log into the game (after up to 8 MINUTES of delay after clicking on “play” in Battlenet); however, within 5 minutes, I get “you have been disconnected…” I click “accept” (no other option provided), the game window closes and Battlenet closes completely as well.
For me, the same issue happens with Diablo IV or D3.
I’ve been out on business travel for a while, so don’t have access to my desktop or another computer right now, but have been using a relatively new laptop (12800HX, 3070Ti, 64gb ddr5 ram, 8tb nvme storage. Same issue if wired or wireless as well. All drivers are updated and not having any issues with Steam/GoG/Epic/Origin/or even EA game launchers - just Battlenet…
