My game keeps freezing and crashing in season 5. Has never done so in other seasons. I teleported to the tree and my game crashed. Here is the Report ID from that crash: 29DADDFD-66F6-4CF3-9407-7D5F5A16A8DB
My game will freeze for several seconds (can’t do anything, not even CTRL+ALT+DEL or move mouse cursor) after I close the aspects page, among other things. I just don’t understand why it’s so bad this season. I’ve never even remotely had problems this bad before.
(For context, I have a razer blade 16 with a 4090 (obv laptop version) and 32 GB RAM.)
Immediately upon logging back into D4, I claimed the reward from the tree and then teleported to a city where I immediately crashed again. Here is that crash Report ID: 66D0694D-74E8-4A05-B573-C3D345F1F87C

I’m having the same crashes mostly inside of the cities.

all updated drivers
does not matter if it is on ultra graphics or low still crashes
frame gen on or off still crashes
ray trace on or of still crashes
Has not happen in past seasons and i usually run on highest graphics.

I’m crashing so much I can’t even play the game. I haven’t crashed since the last time they borked everything back in/before Season 2.
No other games or applications are having any issues.
Only Diablo 4. Only since Season 5.

Every time I close my map, it takes a good 5 to 6 seconds to unfreeze. How is this acceptable?
Edit: I think I’m just done. I’m not dealing with this BS anymore.
Same here. Tried to play like 3 times in the last week and it kept freezing and crashing. Today i was playing for 2 min then it started freezing and coming back, when i got to town and clicked ESC to get in the menu the game crashed, i think i’m done with this season for now.

Having the same issues, I even reinstalled the game.
I am having the same issues since the latest update with no issues before, its bad enough i quit playing! It may run fine for 45 minutes and other times not even 3 minutes. Running asus rog 670ex gaming, ryzen 9 7900x, 64gb of 6400 ddr tuned down to 6000 and a 6950xt.
CTDs while porting anywhere, or playing anywhere. Standing still not crashing unless porting.
Today it happened 6 times so far.
Anybody at Blizzard going to mention even looking into this?
How about looking into refunds for your October Expansion?
