Not sure if this was a coincidence or not but I uninstalled battle.net and reinstalled then never ran into another issue.

I’ve tried playing for around 4 hours, and had ~6 game crashes, might be 5. But most recently I have encountered 2 BSODs while playing and I’m not including those in the other count. 1 occurred while I was trying to fight a realmwalker and was in mid fight with the other players.

I know I have an outdated graphics card, but I didn’t know if that was an issue. I put all settings down to lowest possible to see if maybe there was an issue with the GPU processing, but it still had a BSOD on that realmwalker fight

yeah its getting exhausting. keep losing all the buffs… need to refarm again only to crash and loose them all over. crashed on world boss at like 5% :frowning:

Crashed hard 30 seconds into the game, finally had to end-task it trying to log back in because it just hung for like 4 minutes… In the process of logging back in, it hard crashed my entire computer with a BSOD.
I just left everything else closed, so I could play for a while. Then when I get almost to the end of my lvl 15 sorc quest, I get an “Out of memory” error and hard crash to desktop for the 3rd time tonight.

4 hour delay to “fix” issues at launch, constant crashes tonight. I do not have an outdated graphics card, and my system has run this game perfectly for the last several months. They haven’t upgraded the graphics enough that I can see any difference, and I haven’t changed my graphics settings at all in the last couple months. So I know I shouldn’t be getting out of memory errors telling me that I’m running the game too high.

After another 5 minutes of trying to log back in AGAIN, screw it. I’m going to bed.
Someone wake me up when Blizz figures out what they effed up and fixes it.

crashed again, this time after entering boss room to halls of the damned dungeon

I mentioned in the other threads I have possibly solved my crash issue by disabling my AMD Adrenalin software. If you guys are running something similar to that and you don’t need it running 100% except for tweaking, try killing it and then run D4.

It’s not a permanent fix. Either Blizz or AMD/Nvidia has to provide some fix. But then again, my issue might not be the same with some of you here.

I’m getting a lot too. sucks when you in a big battle when it crash’s

i hope they fix the crashing issues right away, instead of waiting till next tuesday.

Random crashes all over the place, sometimes 3 hours before it crashes, sometimes crashes right after loading in the character, the game itself feels a lot more stuttery too.
Playing on 7800X3D+4070Ti, never had any issues in previous seasons.

I am getting sick of this random crashing as well as the constant disconnects.

Worst part about the crash is not only quest progress resets and sometimes you are sent back to a town so you have to trek all the way back.

It’s the fact your elixirs and opal xp buffs get wasted and wiped out because they remove them on logging off for some absurd reason.

I get the black screen of death on about 1 out of 4 teleports. game doesn’t actually crash, the screen just becomes black and inoperable so I have to hit esc then quit diablo. Leaving doesn’t work, I have to actually quit the game then restart the game.

Once I log back in, i’m at least at the location I was TP’ing to so at least I don’t have to try it again and maybe crash again.

THIS! ^^^

Just going to add to this thread that game is randomly crashing to launcher, (At the worst times too.)

It is so annoying. Game gets disconnected from server so many times and after I get to re-login I find my game progress set back so many hours of completed grinding that did not get saved. This is just so stressful. I hope the game masters appreciate that this is causing a lot of anguish.

Guys can you try to add -disableds in game settings. This fixed it for me.

In battle.net

Press the cog next to play, then game settings. Check the checkbox to add arguments, and then -disableds

No bugs or crashes in my almost 3 hours of play times. The gremlins must be visiting all of you.

What does it disable?
