Hi Diablo 4 devs hope you all are well.
I live in iran and was so hyped to play this game but i kepp getting error code 397006 and I dont know what to do.
I know that blizzard servers work here because diablo 3 and COD work online, so if there’s way you guys can fix this issue so me and every other iranian who loves diablo could play the game.

I’m also having this issue. Unbelievable that this is not being addressed, people are buying the game and totally unable to play. This needs a fix ASAP, none of the suggested workarounds fix the issue.
Exactly they should fix it ASAP im glad im not the only one having this issue.
Hope they devs see this and fix this bug, in the mean time if you found a way to fix it please let me know.
I’m on Xbox Series X . The quick and dirty solution for me is to connect my console to my phone’s mobile hotspot with cell data turned on, then login to Diablo (might have to restart game if currently running). Once you’re on the character selection screen, turn off mobile data and keep your phone’s hotspot and wifi connection turned on. The phone should continue to act as a hotspot by passing along your wifi connection and you should be able to play fine. Unfortunately, I have to do this every time I turn on my Xbox.
Some people are saying this is an issue with ports being blocked by your router. If you’re able to login to your router (go to 192.168.0.1), then you could try what one Reddit user suggested:
"Check ports being blocked in your modem/router. Mine had a setting to block P2P:
(TCP/UDP port 1214)
(TCP port 6881-6999)
(TCP/UDP port 6346)
(TCP port 49152-65534)
Changed setting to allow all those ports and problem gone. Be nice if someone could chase down the exact port that needs to be opened."
Thanks for the help I went to my router settings and saw that the port section was allowed for every port.
Is this a serve problem from their end or is it cause I live in iran?
If it’s a server problem then I will pray that they would fix it as soon as possible.
