Been crashing in the “green areas” farming roots, and when interacting with the Occultist at the new tree of whispers.
Game will just up and quit! No main screen or anything. It just exits totally out of D4!
Never seen anything like this!

played on 21.01. for hours without any problems… now on 22.01.i cant even play the game for some minutes before it crashes like the op said without any notice or bugsplat just direct to desktop and its unplayable…
I’ve had the same thing happening too, guess they’re telling me to go back to POE2.
Same here, constant crashing to desktop with no error message. D4 is the only game that is doing it, all others I have been playing have not.

It seems like a stability issue on the server side if I had to guess. The common theme is when I am interacting with another window. Skills, Occultist, Jewel crafter or in the Pit.
Its a bug splat crash and game totally quits and have to totally restart game. All potions are gone etc.
I know that Blizz probably is collecting the data on the crashes and will address it soon, or at the least tell us they are working on it 
I’ve crashed at least once a day since the season started and with the last update I even got a bluescreen or something that rebooted the computer(I was afk so didn’t see what actually happened), I had the game running in the background with chrome up.
Since the launch of the game and all the seasons I’ve played until now I have never had the game crash. The exact same computer. Feels like something is up.
If you have a GFORCE gpu its the DLSS which is causing the crashes. I did disable the dlss and the crashes stopped in my pc
