Conceited Aspect + Temerity still not working

The Conceited Aspect is still not working with the life shield provided by Temerity pants, and this issue has been reported since last season without any resolution.

“Conceited Aspect”
Deal [15-25%] increased damage while you have a [Barrier] active.

“Temerity”
Effects that Heal you beyond 100% Life grant you a [Barrier]up to [40 - 80%] of your Maximum Life that lasts for 8 seconds.

Is that still true ?
I’m playing around with that Aspect and Temerity.
I mean, If that confirmed as bugged, ill quickly remove it !

Try it at the testing dummy. There is so much stuff broken it is hard to keep track of it really.

Seems like an easy fix, make conceited recognize barrier based on the player and not the ability. I wish we could see how much effort it takes to change little things like this.

Conceited does recongize a barrier, just not this barrier. Sigh.

I appreciate the update. It’s totally a bug and totally not fixed. I mean especially since ‘Barrier’ is capitalized on Temerity description.

The Dummy…
Number goes so fast that it hard to keep track of them…

So, i just tested this; it does seem to work? Test was against boss dummy.

Lvl 1 frost bolt. No enchants active. Took off alot of other varable gear as well.
Dmg range was 2.4k to 3.2k or so, non crit.

With barrier from temerity only (potion or lucky hit heal procced)
Dmg range was 3.0k-4.4k, non crit.

No other dmg increases were up as mych as i could tell but as always, i might have missed some factor.

Can anyone verify similar or contest with their own tests, id like to hear about it

I thought they had said they fixed it also.

So when this thread went up, I checked and it seems to be working.
The numbers are not really that different but they are noticeable and consistently higher, I am just looking at white numbers.

Then I compared it with my pet barrier from Protect and it looked very similar.
With the same skill, same distance, same enemy.

The way to be sure if you have an extra aspect throw it on a 2H it will be more noticeable if it is working.

In the end, I swapped Temerity for a standard Pant, will see how it goes.

I tested both temerity and soulbrand separately on a sorcerer and neither worked with conceited. The barrier from the passive that gives you a 3 second barrier when using a cooldown skill did work though so the aspect works it just doesn’t recognize the barriers from those uniques.
It is easy to test and see the difference look at you skill damage in your skill page or on your bar with and without the barrier active. It will increase dramatically with the barrier generated by the passive that actives on use of a cooldown. However does nothing when only using a temerity or souldbrand generated barrier.

Has someone tried this in Season 4?

it still doesn’t work, the aspect only works with skill barriers, items that give a barrier don’t count. :expressionless:

Why game is poor. Like how is this not fixed by now

Thankfully a different game will be out by then to scratch the arpg itch every few months.

They have tried fixing dolmen stone every season since the item came exist without luck.
